Akyga® is a 42 V / 2 A AC charger designed for 36 V lithium battery packs used in electric bicycles and electric scooters. The device operates from a 100–240 V AC mains supply and uses an IEC C8 (“figure‑8”) power inlet. The 1 m output cable is terminated with a GX16 (3‑pin DIN) connector, known for its mechanical durability and low contact resistance.
The charger provides 42.0 V DC at 2 A, delivering up to 84 W of charging power. This voltage level is standard for 10‑cell (10S) lithium battery packs commonly used in 36 V e‑bike and e‑scooter systems. The unit offers >80 % efficiency and includes a dual‑color LED indicator showing charging progress and completion.
