Akyga LIR3048 is a rechargeable lithium‑ion (Li‑ion, LiCoO₂) button cell designed for compact electronic devices that require higher energy density and multiple charge cycles. Unlike BR or ML series cells, LIR batteries feature low internal resistance and can deliver significantly higher current, making them suitable for devices that demand stronger pulses or higher instantaneous power.

The nominal voltage is 3.7 V, and the realistic capacity is approximately 280 mAh. The LIR3048 supports the standard CC/CV lithium‑ion charging method, allowing integration with conventional Li‑ion charging circuits.
